Souper Bowl of Caring

Adult Groups Missions

In 1990, Souper Bowl of Caring began with a simple prayer from a single youth group in South Carolina: “Lord, even as we enjoy the Super Bowl football game, help us be mindful of those without a bowl of soup to eat.”

Since then, more than $220 million has been raised to address food insecurity across our country. Events are organized locally, and all the funds raised remain with the local congregation. Northside Drive has been participating in this national event for over 30 years. Whether you are a football fan or not, Souper Bowl of Caring provides an opportunity to partake of delicious food, enjoy delightful fellowship around the tables, and participate in the nation’s largest celebration of giving and caring for those in need.

Mark your calendars to join us in the Chapel after worship on Sunday, February 1.

Sign-up sheets to bring soup, chili, and finger desserts are on the table in the Narthex.
