A Delightful Opportunity | Flower Delivery

Each week that we have fresh flowers for Worship, the Flower Committee breaks the large arrangement down into two smaller vases for delivery to members who cannot get to church often. This is a great way to keep in touch with folks who have been a part of our church for years and would enjoy a little extra attention from us. It is a wonderful (and easy!) opportunity to offer pastoral care to each other.

Here's what you do:

• Sign up on Sign Up Genius by clicking here.
• Pick up the flowers just inside the exterior office door after 10:00 on Monday morning. They will be labeled for that week’s recipients. Please get the names of the recipients in advance from Virginia and then call to make an appointment before you visit. 
• Make the delivery and have a brief visit or sometimes just drop off the flowers if they prefer
• Let us know if anyone you visit has a prayer request or news they would like to share with the deacons or congregation. You can do this by calling or emailing Scott or Virginia.  

If you sign up and we do NOT have fresh flowers that week, we will let you know. We can promise you, this is a delightful “job!” Your help in tending our garden of community and care will be greatly appreciated!
