Baptist Women in Ministry
Northside Drive Baptist Church is a proud supporter of Baptist Women in Ministry. BWIM is an
organization that supports and advocates for women who are called by God to preach, lead, and
pastor. Northside Drive has a rich heritage of women who have been ordained here, who have
served on ministry staff, and who have preached from our pulpit.
During the month of March, we will highlight our commitment- both theologically and in practice- to
women in ministry. I’m excited to declare Sunday, March 16, as Women in Ministry Sunday as we
welcome Laure FitzSimmons to our pulpit. Laure (pronounced Laura) is a 3rd year student in the
Master of Divinity program at Candler School of Theology. Laure has been worshiping with us for
the past few months and has loved her time at Northside Drive. We are excited to support Laure
and to lend her our ears as she shares the Gospel with us on March 16.
