Comings and Goings...

We have had some changes on our staff team recently and I want to keep the church up to date!

Saying Goodbye…

Rose Hidlay, our Business Manager, remained with us for a couple months after her resignation. She has been very helpful in preparing to outsource our bookkeeping to Missional Business Services.  Rose’s final day with us was June 27.

Keith Walker, our Director of Music Ministries, had his last day with us on June 30.  We had a wonderful sendoff reception. Thank you to the choir and the hospitality committee for a special time.

Kierra Prather has been with us part-time since April as our Office Intern. Kierra is a student at McAfee School of Theology and has been a tremendous help this summer during our transitions.  Kierra’s final day with us will be August 1.

Saying Hello…

Lydia Wallace began as our full-time Office Manager on July 1. Lydia will serve as our front office manager (creating our worship materials), our director of facilities and our on-site financial assistant.

Beginning this September, the Rev. Len Willingham will serve as our Interim Music Director until we fill the position on a permanent basis. Len is a familiar face at NDBC as he has served two stints as Music Director.  We look forward to Len’s presence with us.

Also, this fall Sadaf Erastus will join us as a part-time Children’s Ministry Intern.  Sadaf is a student at McAfee School of Theology, as an international student from Pakistan.  She will be with us from August through December (maybe longer) for 10 hours a week.  Sadaf has two young children who will accompany her to church.

Continue to pray for the rest of our staff:

Amelia Simmons, Director of Communications and Marketing; Melinda Clark, Organist; Mary Lou Swann, Director of Children’s Choir, Nick Bonner, Facilities and David Vaughns, Facilities.
