Easter Continues...
The season of Easter continues. We call it Eastertide, and its seven weeks take us to Pentecost.
The celebration of the resurrection and the implications for our lives cannot be contained in one
glorious day!
Over the next many weeks, we will continue to grapple with what it means that resurrection is at
the heart of our faith. With an act of great impossibility at the center of our faith, then we are free
to dream and imagine other impossibilities becoming possible. I can imagine a lot! What can you
imagine?
Heather and I will be away this weekend to celebrate our anniversary. The Rev. Dr. Priscilla
Eppinger will preach on Sunday with Sadaf Erastus assisting as Worship Leader.
Our organist, Melinda Clark, has been recovering well from her hip surgery and is planning to
rejoin us on Sunday, May 4. We are excited for her return. We are also so grateful to Mack
Beverly for his extended time with us. This Sunday will be his final Sunday. Please be sure to
thank him for doing such a wonderful job as he has filled in for Melinda during her time away.
