"In the Beginning"
Chapters 1-11 of the book of Genesis have been called the first half of the Bible. It is the ‘origin story’ of everything that follows. The themes that arise in these chapters play out through the rest of the Bible. Beginning this Sunday, we will spend the next seven weeks talking about the beginning of the book of Genesis. Our Wednesday Bible Study looked at these chapters last year and we were amazed at the theological depth and relevance. We will talk about design, purpose, promise, harmony, relationship, trust, passion, anger, hatred, murder, jealousy, contempt, healing, hope and love. What else would you want in a good story?
