On June 3 twelve Northside Drivers volunteered to fill boxes that provide food security and community with the members of the Urban Recipe Co-op. Our assembly line production proved to be A+ !
At the end of two hours, we had placed more than a pallet of packages of various breads into crates, sorted a pallet of frozen fish sticks into dozens of gallon bags, filled several dozen crates with snack boxes, and completed 530 mobile pantry boxes with an assortment of canned vegetables, cereal, peanut butter, and pasta.
NDBC appreciates all these volunteers and hopes to have more opportunities in the future.
