Paul Baxley to Preach This Sunday

This Sunday we will welcome the Rev. Dr. Paul Baxley, executive coordinator of CBF Global, to our pulpit. A Winston-Salem, NC, native, Paul previously served as the senior pastor of the First Baptist Church of Athens, GA. Paul is a graduate of Wake Forest University, Duke Divinity School, and Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond. He has held positions at Mercer University’s McAfee School of Theology, Duke Divinity’s Baptist House of Studies, and the Center for Congregational Health.
In addition to preaching in worship, Paul will join the Art and Soul Class for a time of sharing and questions.
Northside Drive Baptist Church has been affiliated with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship since its inception.
Join us to hear Paul share about the work of CBF!
Church-in-Conference will take place this Sunday following the worship service. You are also invited to join a light lunch with Paul in the Chapel after the Church-in-Conference. Contact Barbara Atchley at or 404-310-9635 if you are interested.
At this time, the weather report for Saturday night and Sunday morning includes ice and snow. We will continue to watch the forecast in order to make an informed and safe decision about Sunday worship. If we decide to cancel worship, we will send a church-wide email. The Deacons will contact those who don’t have access to email. We want everyone to be safe and warm.
