Sarah McCammon is Coming!

Our rescheduled date is Sunday, November 9, at 4:00 PM. Make plans to join us for this relevant discussion about the state of the church. Sarah will speak about her NYT bestseller book The Exvangelicals. Copies of the book are available in the Narthex for $10. And don’t forget to bring your copy to get it signed.

This event will be an opportunity to show off our new Chapel space to friends and neighbors. The content is extremely relevant to our current religious and political climate but is not partisan. Sarah’s book is very personal and offers hope to those who have found the Christian evangelical world to be inhospitable and incompatible with the teachings of Jesus.

Scott Hovey

Scott is a native of sunny Southern California.  He is a graduate of the University of Redlands (BA) and Duke Divinity School (MDiv).  Scott has pastored several churches in North Carolina. His passion is preaching about the intersection of Scripture, justice and community. 

Scott loves living in Atlanta and taking advantage of all the big city has to offer.  Scott and his wife, Heather, are the parents of Marco, Ryon, Mary-Addison and Eleanor.
