Summer Schedule
Summer worship in the Chapel is always a highlight of our church life. This summer will bring some changes to the Chapel space- allowing us to use the space in more and varied ways.
But I’m happy to share that before that transformation we will enjoy Chapel worship during the month of June. Beginning Sunday, June 1, worship will take place in the Chapel with Sunday, June 29, being our final Sunday before moving back to the Sanctuary for the remainder of the summer. We are currently working on ways to make the sanctuary feel ‘summer-y’ for the months of July and August.
Here are a few things to know as we move into the summer schedule. The choir will take a break June through August. The final Sunday with the choir will be May 18. The following Sunday, May 25, is Memorial Day weekend, and we will not have Church School on that day- only worship at 11:00 AM. June 1 is Ascension Sunday followed by our Church in Conference and a Welcome Summer meal together in the Pavilion. Eastertide continues until Pentecost which will be Sunday, June 8. The next month is full of great worship opportunities. Join us each Sunday!
Chapel Stories
As we near a date for converting the Chapel into multi-use space, I would like us to take some intentional time to tell our ‘Chapel stories.’
It is important to remember, to celebrate and ready ourselves for changes and new opportunities.
We will have that opportunity during worship on Sunday, June 22. We will utilize the service to thank God for all that has come before and prepare our hearts for all that lies ahead!
