What a Week!
What a week! What a time to be part of Northside Drive!
Our day on Sunday was packed full of meaning and celebration! We launched our new ESL ministry; sang in Spanish; welcomed John Langston, our newest member; and gathered around tables of fellowship and goodwill to enjoy soup and support hunger-related ministries. We raised over $3000! Many heartfelt thanks to the Missions Ministry Team for this wonderful time together.
And then… on Tuesday, we celebrated our retirees at our annual Valentine Luncheon. The meal was incredible (thank you, Melissa Bryson!), the entertainment was, well, entertaining, and the fellowship was delightful. Thank you to the Triple E Team (and so many others) for making it a great day!
Ours is a church that creates warmth and demonstrates care at every turn. I witnessed joy in relationships several times this week. There are so many who long to say such a thing. How deeply needed that is in our world today. Thank you, church, for modeling and sharing exactly what church must be. It is a blessing to be able to minister alongside you!
