Interested in Being a Worship Leader?
During Sunday morning worship, alongside the pastor, there are many church members who participate to make worship meaningful. There are choir members who inspire us with beautiful music. There are ushers who welcome us to worship. There are lay readers who help us hear scripture read in a different voice. And there are the worship leaders who pray on our behalf and help to guide us through the various elements of liturgy. It takes a village to “make worship happen” each week.
If you have ever thought of offering your gifts in worship, we would welcome your participation as a worship leader. We are in need of 2-3 persons who are willing to serve as worship leaders once every couple of months.
For those who indicate an interest, I will offer a mini training session on how to write public prayers, how to read scripture by enunciating clearly and projecting your voice, and how to follow and lead the liturgical elements of NDBC worship.
